Steven Spielberg, John Williams, and Robin Williams—what a combination! It's a shame this trio didn't work together more often. In any case, "Hook" is an absolute masterpiece and a classic. It's also by far the best adaptation of Peter Pan and simply a comfort film.
This movie possesses a magic that has been increasingly lost in Hollywood over the years. Although this film is unusually long at 141 minutes, it doesn't feel a second too long, which is rare.
Overall, I have to say that "Hook" is one of the most underrated films of its kind.
