Evita
skulle si noe om at kurt hummel slår Madonna igjen, men det er ikke sant
(samtidig... jeg tror han kunne dratt filmen like bra)

I can't deal with the way Madonna says Buenos Aires

Are they illusions, Eva Peron?!

I don't understand, is this man a hater or the voice of reason?

I never thought I would see Madonna put cement on a brick.

Evita
I know this movie has bad ratings on here, but I honestly really enjoyed this! I had never seen the musical or really listened to the soundtrack, so I had no pre-existing ideas for what it should be like. This is a sung-through, opera style musical though, so maybe that style turned some people away.

I thought Madonna did a great job playing the titular role. She definitely conveys the star quality that Evita must have had. I LOVED Antonio Banderas as Che. Not only was he very handsome and charismatic, he was the propelling force of the story as he narrated and commented on the events. Jonathan Pryce also did a nice job playing Mr. Peron.

I gave this movie an extra half star simply because it caused me to become obsessed with the musical soundtrack and story. I think that's the purpose of the movie adaptations of musicals. It's meant to spark interest in a way that listening to the cast recording alone could never do.

I really liked this movie and am sure that I will be watching it again and again.
