this is such an overlooked and underrated gem. a really cute indie (sorta) coming-of-age film that explores so many different levels and struggles of girlhood and womanhood, due to the systemic structures that fail to help these girls. also a very interesting and original plot i'd say, it's not usual that you see two girls kidnap a woman because they don't have a mom.
