i will be singing "BLOODSPATTERS MAKE MY PANTIES WEEETTTTTT" for weeks, methinks... this film manages to succeed at blending sexual content (genuinely SEXY sexual content at that - maskhead pls call me, and then proceed to beat and fuck me thanks) with comedic elements far more than most black/horror comedies i've seen. i loved advertisement spoofs, so those were certainly a treat, and cowboy's whole character was great comedic relief throughout it all. again, i must just say, that maskhead himself is SO hot - so be forewarned for that. this is great, not bcuz it does smth CRAZY or complex, but bcuz it does what its going for extremely successfully. honestly, for 2005? the effects are great! fred vogel really can do magic with gore effects, and he's able to bring his preferred style of found footage into this without it becoming itself that sort of movie. will likely rewatch this at some point, purely bcuz it was a delight!
