The residents of a rural mining town discover that an unfortunate chemical spill has caused hundreds of little spiders to mutate overnight to the size of SUVs. It's then up to mining engineer Chris McCormack and Sheriff Sam Parker to mobilize an eclectic group of townspeople, including the Sheriff's young son, Mike, her daughter, Ashley, and paranoid radio announcer Harlan, into battle against the bloodthirsty eight-legged beasts.

what a watch on halloween. if i temporarily tossed my brain off this was a really fun experience and the big spiders cgi is just awesome. but i can't shake the feeling of this being some sort of area 51/ republican propaganda in some ways which i won't explain further i just have the feeling. or maybe harlan got me.

Embora o poster seja horroroso e tenha me dado um pouco de preguiça já nele e no título genérico, é um filme bem divertido. Ele quase não se leva a sério, com uns toques de terror e aventura, é uma homenagem bem divertidinha do terror atômico da década de 1950 e daqueles clichês de filmes da década de 1980. Tem muita coisa nada a ver no filme, mas sei lá sabe? Senti uma nostalgia enorme vendo ele, foi como voltar a época que eu comprava dvd pirata perto da minha casa e sempre assistia umas perolas como essas e como "O Ataque dos Vermes Malditos" com o meu irmão.
