Follows the lives of 3 servicemen returning from WWII, each with their own baggage and problems reintegrating into society. What do you a serviceman when the wars over? Same thing you do with the planes, turn em into something useful.
I loved Homer as a character, I mean one of my favorites from any movie ever. Homer lost both his hands, masters the use of his new hook hands, goes home to his girlfriend and his loving family, but his fear of being defined by his injury is his biggest obstacle to hitting his stride.
I also thought it was cool how everything felt in focus like all the time, made for a most enjoyable viewing
