Recently discharged Marine sniper John Stewart is at a crossroads in his life, one which is only complicated by receiving an extraterrestrial ring which grants him the powers of the Green Lantern of Earth. Unfortunately, the ring doesn't come with instructions - but it does come with baggage, like a horde of interplanetary killers bent on eliminating every Green Lantern in the universe. Now, with the aid of the light-hearted Green Arrow, Adam Strange and Hawkgirl, this reluctant soldier must journey into the heart of a galactic Rann/Thanagar war and somehow succeed where all other Green Lanterns have failed.

Green Lantern: Beware My Power
I don't know what they call when the original MC becomes evil but I hate that shit and they should've made John different from Hal. Hal became evil, now John has become the righteous Hal. I think since John was dealing with pstd he should've killed, the ring killed Sinestro and he couldn't kill Hal. The naming part, I dont like that either, "Beware My Power" "John Stewart" they couldn't even give him a nickname. I like the animation, Green Arrow and John reciting the oath while he fought Hal.

Green Lantern: Beware My Power
good but very suprising film, i didn't expect to see adam strange, so it was cool seeing him after watching the short few hours earlier.
Best part of this film def were green arrow and Hal Jordan, I didn't care for John Stewart that much, never cared tbh. idk he's just boring to me.
Hawkgirl was also pretty cool.
I was suprised that they actually went the route to make Hal posessed by parallax, that was CRAZY to me, but in a good way ofc.
Lastly, there's a BIG problem for me w this film and it is that WHY DID THEY HAVE TO KILL OFF HAL???? WHAT THE FUCK???
I absolutely HATE that decision. I give this 2 and half stars just because of that, otherwise it would have been 3 stars.
I rate 6.5/10

Green Lantern: Beware My Power
It was aight, constructs looked nice but the writing was kinda boring and the lack of understanding of Jon’s character was embarrassing

Green Lantern: Beware My Power
***“In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might beware my power… Green Lantern's light!”
-John Stewart***

This is an interesting take on the first outing of green lantern in the new DC animated universe, because why are all of the guardians being killed, Sinestro killed off, and then they do the whole parallax storyline in like 20 minutes and kill off Hal Jordan.

Just a very mid movie. The Rann–Thanagar War was interesting but not anything crazy. The characters weren’t terrible though John Stewart teams up with Ollie, Hawkgirl, and Adam Strange to stop the Rann-Thanagar war while John discovers his place as a green lantern is pretty cool. But the story’s eh and Hal Jordan shows up and his characterization is so messed up and any comic book fan knows what that means when he’s killing bad guys and acting darker, he’s Parallax which is supposed to be a big twist but anyone who knows green lantern lore saw it coming and I feel like general audiences could see it clearly too.

Also some of the voice acting was stale and I didn’t feel any of the emotion that was supposed to be there.

The animation is the same from the other tommowverse animated movies and I’m still not the biggest fan of it.
