Originally watched because we saw Joel McHale in the Hulu backdrop for it.
But, it was a much better time than I was expecting it to be. Jimmy Tatro is so damn good in this movie that it's kind of unbelievable, just a comedic force from beginning to end and is most of what helps get this film to two stars for me. I don't think the aforementioned McHale was doing anything particularly interesting in his role, but I loved his dynamic with Lehi Falepapalangi (the latter of which was definitely second place in who got the most laughs out of me).
This movie needed a lesson on when to end though and when Perry does his concussion test and it cuts to black is where we should've got the "California King" title tag and then the credits, the rest of the film felt so tacked on and that we were slogging our way to the final credits roll.

insanely entertainingly funny film that has dumb moments that have either bad acting, or inconsistencies but it’s fun enough, Jimmy Tatro and Joel Mchale who i enjoy tenfold and definitely carry the lows of this movie. but tbe editing a d camerawork is just really fun. some plots go nowhere but wtv
