This definitely feels like a covid frustration piece. There’s a specific kind of feel to media that deals with feeling trapped made after 2020 that cannot help but evoke that kind of feeling for me, if I’m being honest. I still have no idea if It’s Raining Frogs Outside does it effectively, but the trippy visuals alone at least are thought-provoking.
