5.5/10 Overrated.  Man this is a weird kink that she had for him. I really wanted this to be better. But it wasn’t scary at all and the it was very boring for the most part. The ending sequences were cool and the prosthetics and costumes designs were awesome. The acting other than the father was subpar. The father was killed and Frank the main antagonist took his face so Kirsty wouldn’t go crazy. Andrew Robinson was absolutely fantastic in those sequences he’s was so scary and his acting was honestly top tear as he was creeping me out. The film does do another thing great which is the grossness of the film. I was grossed out many points. I did kind of think Pinhead would be in this more because he is a horror icon. But from what my friends have told me he is more in the other ones which I will still be watching even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of this film. I can obviously see why people like this a lot and consider it a horror classic but it just really didn’t connect with me.
