Cool hand Luke is a product of its time a perfect representation of 60s cinema. Paul Newman is brilliant and makes this film as iconic as it is. Cool hand Luke is the definition of perfect Filmmaking as it has a multitude of iconic scenes and shots, the camera work feels aheads of its time and is what makes this film flow so well. I can definitely see this moving up to a five on rewatch but on this watch it took me a bit to get into it. Paul Newman playing the banjo is as synonymous as Charles bronson playing the hermonica and it’s great to watch, him playing on the bed was definitely my favourite scene.
