DOA is pure fun all around with cool fights, beautiful and badass girls, a dumb but fun plot and just a good time.
Look I admit DOA isn't high art and it isn't trying to be. That being said I always loved this movie. So it's high up there in the guilty pleasure rating.
I'll start with the characters. Kasumi, Tina and Christie are all entertaining and fun characters. The camera definitely isn't shy to show them off either. I love their little character moments and their fight are better than it has any right to be for a movie like this. There are funny moments too.
The story is just dumb fun. It's an excuse for the characters to fight and look sexy. I'm totally good with that in this movie because well it makes the movie memorable. I just like how stupid it is and I have a blast watching it.
