Maari Selvaraj doesn't know how to make films,he only knows how to knit life with the thread of cinema.

Except for the performances from Fahad & Vadivelu and a terrific interval block, it's an average outing from Mari Selvaraj. Even ARR was a disappointment. Weakest in Mari’s filmography.

I have no idea why these reviews on letterboxd are so low because I saw absolutely no flaws in this movie. Vadivelu's performance was so moving he actually left me speechless. the first half was so insanely beautiful, I was caught sobbing multiple times. The stills and cinematography was impeccable, which is so distinct to Mari Selvaraj's work.
A lot of the reviews I’ve seen have been about how amazing the first half was and how lackluster the second half was. My rebuttal to that is that movies about politics and social justice can only go in one direction, so your qualms about predictability are invalid. It was moving, entertaining, and just flat out amazing. I loved this movie 5/5.
