Not sure I understood all the symbolism, but I did like what they did with it. Especially the cinematography. I read that this is supposed to be a commentary on climate change, but honestly didn't see it that way, more so a look into a family at odds, that understand things about each other because of a supernatural event. I think that's it, anyways.

I honestly thought this was going to be a cute little movie about a cow for some reason.

The film starts out strong with an aura of mysticism and a cognizant earthly presence. Shots of earthy texture create a palpable connectedness to nature. This connectedness is elevated by the wonderful pairing of animal shots and chanting. There are some wonderful ideas here swirling in the cauldron of creativity and cinema. Unfortunately, it is the relationships between characters that make this film lose its way. The progression of each character's journey feels uncertain and the concluding offset exposition feels undermining.
