The Abduction of the Sun and the Moon

a beautiful example of limited animation!! i wish we’d seen examples like this one in my film animation history class bcs those limited mass produced american cartoons really didn’t make me believe in this cost effective technique and i was a hater 

its 'limits' didn’t bother me or make me wished it was ‘limitless'. the still shots and the pans to present the environment were beautiful, the colour palette is one of my favorite ever. and i liked the over usage of cycles, it had a nice rhythm
