A scientist at a Florida university inadvertently creates a "rage virus" while performing experiments intended to restore dead brain tissue in baboons. When a journalist for the college paper breaks into the campus lab, he's bitten by one of the infected baboons; the virus soon spreads to a trio of rapists and a valley girl, all of whom go on killing sprees.

Fun infection horror flick with Italo-horror sensibilities, a banging soundtrack, and an underlying sense of wicked humour. The characters are likeable and excellently written, the gore bangs and the pace is brisk. It doesn’t tie up all its loose ends, but it’s still a fun trashy flick

I watched it before but I barely remember anything, this time around I pay more attention to it and it is a fun film.
On a collage campus a guy is beaten by a monkey infecting him with a rage like virus, the characters are likeable, the practical effects are great and it is entertaining, the action does take a bit to start
and I was waiting for a more honestly, but i was satisfied at the end.
The last act also takes place at a Halloween dance, the movie takes place on Halloween but other than the dance there is no other indicator that this is the season they are in, anyways I really liked the scene looking at all the vintage costumes, the action and the cheesy 80s soundtrack makes it a great watch

The opening credits make you think you’re about to watch an 80s college sitcom but then doctor tiny ponytail and his monkey puppet make a bunch of rage zombies and it turns out those creeps in the background of one shot are rapists.
Pretty fun and entertaining throughout even if it’s a pretty contained outbreak.

I have a strong affinity with late 80s cheesy horror movies. The bad acting, the makeup, the clothes, the music.
I was getting a little bored, and was not that into it as I was expecting but the scene of the halloween party at the end really increased my viewing experience.
