Screamers
A deeply flawed sci-fi horror film, very creative and lovable. Definitely in the running for least necessary kiss of all time.

Screamers
Drably ambitious, various intertwined little fictions that keep people moving forward becoming raw and frayed at world's end. Though—they weren't knotted tightly enough in the first place. It is like there is too much happening thematically for the film to handle so it all diffuses.

Duguay splashes camera movement and slightly more extreme angles when the sets can apparently allow it. Ultimately, the camera here doesn't show much finesse with regards to suggesting POV or arranging information to anxious/tense affect. There are a few wonderful matte paintings, but I wouldn't say much of the speculative fiction design stuff is "cool."

Вроде и плагиат дрожи земли с дюной, а вроде история про 2 отцов приёмного ребёнка, я разрываюсь между 0.5 и 5

Screamers
A fun action horror movie, with some interesting ideas, but nothing 'groundbraking'
