Not a bad film, just an ok one that relies too heavily on Steve McQueen being cool to carry it. Great music and some interesting camerawork, the heist itself and the set up was class also. But, the remainder felt a little silly as Faye Dunaway cracks the case based on absolutely no evidence and a hunch, and forges some weird romance with McQueen. Also contains the longest chess match of all time all for an on-the-nose metaphor of the situation between the 2 of them.
