this is the type of gen z coming of age that i really want to see more of. surprisingly heartfelt and had so much personality to it, got very emotional during the last few minutes, the subtle tragedy of it all really got to me. recently wrote a coming of age short that’s similar tonally to this film, and i hope to get it made sometime soon

Extremely pretentious review: Therapy Dogs is an endearing coming of age movie that uses its documentary format to capture beautiful moments in a very bleak and confused perspective on graduating high school.
Other thoughts: The movie really deserves the attention of American audiences, specifically high schoolers. I really loved the title cards for the differing segments because of how charming the hand drawn art was.
