There’s still parts to enjoy in this but as a whole I felt it was a noticeable step down from the first. Only 2 of the segments landed for me & it tries to be too referential. It’s almost like it’s trying too hard to show it’s love for the horror genre, whereas the first movie did this waaaaay more naturally.

Liked this a little less than the first but I still had a fun time watching all these references. If a third one ever comes out you bet I’ll be there to watch it

Adored the zany wraparound Saw parody, but all the shorts just felt flat and weren’t as inventive as the original. Sweet love letter to horror fans everywhere.
