You can tell its a Woo flick and it certainly has great action and lots of destruction (I counted 4 helicopters?) yet I feel like it doesn't have that magic that I felt in his Hong Kong classics.

I’ve decided to see it as soon as I realized it didn’t only have Christian Slater in it, but Samantha Mathias to they both played together, and had amazing chemistry already in Pump Up The Volume. But I didn’t realize just how stacked the rest of the cast was.
Frank Whaley was great as always. And since I didn’t know he was gonna be in it going in…it was a nice surprise.
This movie is decent nothing great but some really good fighting sequences and some fun acting.
If you want a Christian Slater action movie il go with Kuffs but this is still good.

So cheesy but so awesome. Woo’s melodrama doesn’t communicate as effectively to his American flicks, and they don’t look half as good as his Hong Kong ones either, but still a great time. 

Every line Travolta says in this is so funny, he’s fucking insane.

This might actually be bad, but what does that even mean? This is better than most superhero movies, or at least more fun. Again tho, not nearly as good as anything else I’ve seen from him.
