Party Doll A Go-Go!: Part 2
After really kinda liking part one ( boxd.it/9NgP4D ), I moved on to ‘Party Doll A Go-Go Part 2.’ [And this too was watched on a bootleg blu ray and might have been sourced from a DVD].

Unlike the differences between ‘Nightdreams’ and ‘Nightdreams II,’ there isn’t much to add to my previous ‘Party Doll’ review as part 2 this isn’t really a different film – it has the same cast (minus, I think, one of the guys), the same format, and the same set (mostly).

Again, it is full of repetitious, extended sex scenes which are intercut, both within the scene and via interstitial sequences, with cast members go-go dancing, reciting slang and nonsense with various degrees of enthusiasm (the more enthusiastic, the funnier it is – to be clear, this is intentional) and otherwise doing just about everything to interrupt the flow of the intercourse (to coin a phrase). Interestingly, there is a bit more interrogation of the audience in this part (though it was there in part one as well), mostly along the lines of “Hey you, you out there, why are you watching this?” (this is paraphrasing, obvs), which is, I suspect, highly unusual in a film of this kind. It’s both funny and more than a little disconcerting.

Again, not sexy in the slightest, but pretty entertaining when divorced from the mechanics of the act of sex. This time out though, the main drawback is just that it is so similar to part one that it gets tiring rather sooner. Still, weird stuff (in a good way).
