good intentions but way too long for what it is
when people talk about iphone face i didn’t get it but now i do lol
everything was so netflix lighting and glossy it distracted me from the story

it’s quite crazy for me to say this is one of tyler’s best movies, but that also isn’t saying much. you can clearly see that there was way more effort put into this (in comparison to the madea movies) and i was willing to see how it would’ve went when he branched out of that genre but … this one was not it. jumping on to the wagon of retelling another story of forbidden love between two races just did not work in his favor, and the ending really sealed my dislike for the movie unfortunately.
