Right out the gate you can feel the reality in our characters. Zhou Dongyu being the star she is plays Nana perfectly. Qu Chuxiao’s character is the most interesting of the three if you ask me considering he has the “least” but seems to be the one giving the most. Working at a restaurant run by his family but constantly paying for his friends things, bringing them to places, and bringing the happiness to the other two who are struggling internally. Although Han Xiao has things to sort out of his own, he keeps pushing through for his friends. Liu Haoran had an incredible performance from the start and being the focus of the story as the was the odd-ball out in the beginning but then found his way in love with Nana as Hao Feng. The visuals are stunning and camera work is great, the middle part of the movie was a bit slow and the bear scene in the end felt a bit too dramatic for me. I also don’t get the plot line with the fugitive, I was expecting our characters to catch this person but it never happened.
