When the 2hr IMAX film was originally announced I was over the moon. From what I've seen from Peter Jacksons WW1 documentary and how well 2001 space oddity was restored I needed to see this in IMAX. Since then things were very quiet and finally an update was released along with a trailer.
7.5hrs of footage released solely on Disney plus. As happy as I was to have access to that footage the lack of IMAX to experience it had me feeling somewhere between devastated and disappointed. I adore IMAX. Then last week I seen the showing dates for this. I watched 2hrs worth of the mini series then seen this in glorious IMAX today. What a blast.
