Do the Right Thing directed by Spike Lee is a great film with a very important message. This movie is good, i thought the cinematography and use of colors was great, i wasn’t to big on the actors in this film with nothing really standing out besides Danny Aiello who played Sal and Spike Lee who played Mookie, and i thought in the aftermath of the riot scene was where they worked best in. The message about love and hate and police brutality is extremely important especially since it sadly STILL happens today. But this film was pretty good but i lacked connection with the characters and i didn’t fully feel any emotional depth, but that doesn’t take away from this films highs since i found it very funny, paced extremely well, a fantastic score, and some great writing from Spike Lee.
