1/5Aronofsky’s first released project, and as a student film… it’s okay. Well, not really. It’s actually pretty terrible. The acting, the plot, and especially the budget are all painfully rough. Still, I managed to laugh a few times, and at least the ending had a point.Interestingly, you can already spot a quick editing technique that Aronofsky would later turn into one of his trademarks in Requiem for a Dream. Other than that, it’s a pretty shitty film.
