I respect the ambition of this Documentary but unfortunately I don’t find it to be all that great, the pivot from retrospective to Kyra’s youth around this franchise was jarring. The documentary feels over ambitious and never really knows what it wants to be.
I would have liked a full documentary about how growing up with such close proximity to all this horrifying shit shaped her and how It felt always having her dad away working, but instead this feels like it manipulated fans to watch by being a retrospective and made it a personal experience for the final 20 minutes (which was the portion I preferred).
Also I know it is Don’s least favorite installment but Child’s Play 3’s segment being so short was hilarious (Don wasn’t even present in this segment).
