“I wouldn’t want to dance to it; but thats a pulse.”
This movie fucking RULES.
Freelance human trafficker Mick Jagger teleports hotshot rookie race car driver Emilio Estevez (He’s photogenic, he’s telegenic, he’s drug free and he’s good to his mom) to the gritty and futuristic year 2009, where he was intended to be sold as a braindead body for some rich muckity-muck to put his mind into.
Trouble is he was totally fine, escaped his lobotomy, and is left to navigate his future and find his girlfriend. Its kinda a reverse Time Rider.
Technically, though, Emilio was going to die. Had Jagger not intervened, he woulda collided head first into a billboard so can you really fault them for using the no scraps organ donor method? They use that same argument in the TV show Travelers.
Anyway its entertaining as hell. Everyone can sorta act except Mick Jagger.
