I know, I know: I’m so late to this movie.
It’s funny, parts of it were spoiled for me, but I still wasn’t prepared for how deranged this story gets. I didn’t really buy Jacob Elordi’s Felix, but Barry Keogh was genuinely disturbing. Great cinematography, but I can’t condone some of the scenes they shot. You know which one I’m talking about.

Liked this WAY more on a second watch. once you know whats coming and your just appreciating it for what it is — its much easier to love. its beautifully shot, it feels really unique, the charecters are well developed and intresting, the acting is great. and i really love that they were willing to make a mainstream movie so sexually disturbing. Farleigh is not even a main charecter but so complex and intreaguing, i wanted to understand what hes about and if hes an asshole or not. Rosamund Pikes charecter is also so damn good. everyone has a viseral reaction to this movie and thats just so awesome, they need to make more movies that strike simmilar chords.
