“I’m not going to die”
This film is just something else it’s such a raw film that feels so real and shocking, the way it captures teen culture such as drugs, sex and relationships is all way to realistic of the vivid reality of teens growing up in harsh backgrounds, gloomy lives or the joys of being a teen with no care in the world. The characters are so well portrayed it really makes this film authentic and different from the rest.
Kids has a depressing and melancholy ambience to it that fully portrays the film as what it’s supposed to be a serious and disturbing film, while also showing the life of being a teenager and exploring life with drugs and sex but with the bleak and brutal reality of diseases like HIV and AIDS which are serious topics depicted in this film.
“I have no legs. I have no legs. I have no legs. I have no legs. God bless you. I have no legs.”
