Jaafar Jackson really is the glue that holds this movie together. The more the movie progressed he seemed more comfortable as Mike. By the end I thought I was watching the man himself. Great music, Great director, and an aiight story. I mean, this could of been better if they added a little more drama and intrigue to the script. Overall I had fun, feel like we need a part 2 as directed by BUBBLES.

Commits one of the worst things a movie can do, be incredibly boring.
Purely exists to recreate the music videos and the concerts, which you could just watch on YouTube.
The performances are decent but that’s not enough to save this run of the mill musical biopic( please when will they stop making them).
I’ve had to lower this rating because the more I think about the more I dislike it. Also basically teasing the allegations for a potential part 2 is fucking vile, like it’s some sort of avengers movie or something. Which if they do it will one thousand percent be watered down.

Jaafar Jackson didn't just play Michael; he resurrected him. I’m 25 and grew up on the hits, but this movie made me realize his discography is just the tip of the iceberg. Seeing his discipline and his gentleness on screen was a total shift for me. I came for the Moonwalk; I left needing to understand the human being behind the spectacle.
Immaculate, ethereal, and heartbreakingly misunderstood. It’s officially time to go down the rabbit hole.
