“i can’t believe i said you were a rat, i’m your best friend”
this film is not not at all what i expected it to be. i was expecting a more dulled down version of goodfellas but with an fbi agent but it’s so different. he was so compelled by the mafia not because he wanted to be but he had to be and it was draining him and his family which was so unfair. all he wanted to do was finish his job but all his family wanted was him and that was so difficult for him to manage along with the fact that he befriended most of the guys he was meant to be getting dirt on. not even just befriending them but left actually treating him as his best friend is so heartbreaking .i think this film is great for showing how consuming the fbi is but i just wish it was more interesting and had more happening.
