Holy cinema. I did watch the colored version but i am gonna have to watch the black n white version on rewatch. Honestly first 45 minutes wasnt really a big fan of except for the introduction to Godzilla at the start. Man this movie actually makes u love the characters in it other than Godzilla. It tackles big stuff like PTSD and self-harm. I really thought it was over for bro at the end where the plane crashed into Godzilla. The last like hour of this film was 10/10 for me obviously I feel the start was a little slow but I loved this movie. I watched it for Godzilla but man I loved the characters and I almost got emotional at various points. Cant wait for the sequel to this coming soon I heard. My favorite Godzilla film ever.

Godzilla Minus One is a masterpiece. I was completely obsessed with the portrayal of the main character's family, digging into that post war trauma and survivor's guilt in such a psychodynamically complex way. And Godzilla itself? Easily the best, most well crafted representation out there, truly terrifying. Looking forward to the next one!!

Pretty slow for a Godzilla movie, I do love the revenge story, I also love the return to a more classic Godzilla style, but I do feel like it was mildly dragged out. That’s really my only major complaint besides I don’t speak Japanese, but I can’t dock it points on a technicality. Solid flick
