surprisingly not pure crap
it doesn't attempt to ape the original like city of angels does, and instead injects a murder/crime mystery thing into the narrative. it wipes away anything that gives the main character any interiority or substance, and it loses basically anything that gives it cool factor, but it does attempt to use the characteristics of the crow in a unique way. there's real stunts and explosions and some half decent needle drops.
just like with city of angels, this is NOT good but i don't hate it

maybe a little sillier than it should be at times but at least it’s more original than the second one. (unsurprisingly this also has a good soundtrack)
