Not great but not bad either. In my opinion Murder on the Orient Express is slightly better because its cast was really good, while comparatively in this film the performances were a little lacklustre. Michelle Yeoh needed way more screen-time; she had a very commanding presence that worked well with the atmosphere, and it's a shame she wasn't utilised more. The plot was interesting but lost steam part way through, and if I'm honest, the reveal was pretty predictable. It's still miles better than Death on the Nile, so I'll always be glad for that.

unbearably mid. i don't think that branagh understands what makes poirot stories good like. at all. [looks over at my many christie mysteries i've read] laugh out loud he does not understand the "setting up clues to be resolved later so we can solve the mystery with the detective" aspect, but somehow also makes it so so so so easy to solve. why are these all so edgy and fucking depressing. let my guy have FUN!!!

anyways we were very set on leopold being the murderer and HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!! would have been a legitimately good twist. that fuckass kid. we started shouting "DUTCH ANGLE" whenever there was a dutch angle. A   P P L   E

Mejor que la del Nilo, más rebajada de fondos CGI y un misterio con tintes de terror que esta muy bien contado.
Kenneth Branagh parece estar más contenido y a la peli le va muy bien que el reparto sea menos conocido.
