The life of Danny Wright, a salesman forever on the road, veers into dangerous and surreal territory when he wanders into a Mexican bar and meets a mysterious stranger, Julian, who's very likely a hit man. Their meeting sets off a chain of events that will change their lives forever, as Wright is suddenly thrust into a far-from-mundane existence that he takes to surprisingly well … once he gets acclimated to it.

"When you were young as your heart was an open book, you used to say live and let live (you know you did, you know you did, you know you did) but if this ever changing world in which we live in makes you give in and cry..."
"Say live and let die"- Paul McCartney (1973)
Did I just quote the lyrics of a Bond theme in a review of a movie starring Pierce Brosnan? Yes. Yes I did. because it fits.
Something about Julian. When hes happier we see him in yellow. The most obvious colour, weird choice for a man who job requires secrecy, but when he's in black, the most secretive colour, he's usually sad. This really shows that his job doesn't truly fit him and he's happiest when he's seen by others (Danny Wright). I mean he's been stuck in this life style for decades.. actually idk where I'm going with this. I mean yea the dialogue about being a male cheerleader helps to back up my point but I'm not confident in my skills to deeply analyse a person ans I may be projecting a little (I blame autism).
He fascinates me. You never know whether or not he's lying and he works really well as the foil against Greg Kinnears character.
Idk where I'm going with this review ts peak Julian Noble is so me (lets all laugh at someone). And wow he sounds too British almost like it's a mask. Yea he's my favourite pierce brosnan character for a reason [maybe because you've only watched him in 8 different movies]
Brosnan saying,"Danny with the big white fanny", is probably going to stay in my head for at least a week

some guy (I forgot his name) adopts wild pierce brosnan. brosnan is an asshole like gary king. he copes like Gary King. I love him.
Julian is so me. He got burn out. I got burn out. He makes sex jokes. I make sex jokes. He is weirdly honest at times. Real.
JN/PB: I am going to kill this stranger. Jk =D (signature brosnan smile I love his smile it's so dumb)
title cards are fun. so is the fact that Julian wears warm colours and the other guy wears cool colours. love their bromance. Not gay. Not everything needs to be gay. But Jalec is totally gay (off topic). Tbh the comedy didn't really stand out
That one line where he talks about retiring to a greek island THAT WAS SAID THREE YEARS BEFORE HE WAS IN MAMMA MIA

I only knew about this film because I love ‘A Town Called Malice’ by The Jam.
Overall it was fun. Nothing crazy original or anything like that. But it’s a fun comedy and Pierce Brosnan is on top form.
