the dynamic between graham and hannibal isn’t nearly as erotic as it should be but ralph fiennes had me locked tf in, my goodness. movie picks up in the second half and finishes strong

As much as I think this film is incredibly varied in quality- there’s aspects that I love and other aspects I’m not as keen on- it does have one of the best supporting casts of the 21st century.
The directing and cinematography (I think) are too derivative of both Manhunter and Silence of the Lambs which really lets it down. (The director is also an all time POS which doesn’t help the film).
(The MCU style reference to Clarice at the end also made me laugh because I forgot they did that and I was so caught off guard)
