Sand art animation is always going to be impressive to me. In the case of The Street it’s a wonderful case of the medium matching the story in a brilliant way as a moment from the past - a child’s early brushes with examining mortality - are scatted and spread through the use of the granular sand pieces. The result is one that accepts the temporal nature of time in all of its metamorphosis
