❝It is said some lives are linked across time, connected by an ancient calling that echoes through the ages: destiny.❞

I only watched Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time because of this TikTok. And apart from Jake Gyllenhaal's glorious muscles and baby blues, there wasn't much to appreciate about the film. It reminded me a lot of Clash of the Titans, in that it's high budget, full of mediocre visuals, and doesn't really boast of good acting. I know next to nothing about the original video games, so I can't comment on whether this is a good adaptation or not, but at the very least I would've expected actors from what was once Persia, not white people absolutely butchering every single name. It's fair to say I won't be revisiting this any time soon, and I really need to stop getting catfished into watching trash films by edits of gorgeous people.
