To the Los Angeles elite, Ford Fairlane is known as "Mr. Rock 'n' Roll Detective." This loudmouthed ladies' man serves an exclusive rock star clientele, who depend on his keen eye and smug discretion. So when a heavy-metal musician dies mid-concert, Fairlane is on the case before the lights come up. But things turn shocking when radio personality Johnny Crunch hires Fairlane to find a missing groupie mere hours before he is electrocuted live on air.

“What? You didn’t really think we’d kill the fuckin’ koala bear, now did ya?”
the cast of this is insane

Really fucking cool and funny loved it, and it was directed by a finnish dude wich made me like it even more. The soundtrack is also really good.
Would recommend.

So many of Dice’s jokes (and this is one of those comedian vehicles where every line is a joke) baffled me. Otherwise, I kind of liked how stupid this is. I think the charmless sexism and jokes are impossible to overlook so it’s not like this is a recommendation. Robert Englund gets to go off leash as a bizarre thug. Wayne Newton is the big bad. Renny Harlin brings action movie excess at random and really sells the LA setting. It’s just… yeah.

Siempre que me preguntan defino esta película como una peli mala que es una parodia de las pelis malas. Es una locura irreverente, donde Andrew Dice Clay dispara chistes entre guiños al mundo musical de los 80 y escenas que rozan lo absurdo. Absurda, exagerada y decididamente ochentera. En resumen una película llena de excentricidades.
