Man, I loved this movie. From beginning to end, I was locked in. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time — all the twists, betrayals, the action — it just kept hitting. I still have a few more movies to go in the series, but I already know this one’s gonna end up in my top five. No doubt.
Owen Davian though… might be my favorite villain so far. The way he messed with Ethan mentally, killed the girl he trained, and somehow figured out who his wife was? That was wild. And that whole interrogation scene where it looks like he actually killed her?? Chilling. Philip Seymour Hoffman was a beast in this role — perfect casting.
Another thing I really liked is we finally got to see Ethan actually working with a full team. Of course Luthor is always there (I hope I see him in more movies), but it was cool seeing other people on the team that genuinely had Ethan’s back. No betrayals, no one getting picked off — it just felt like a real squad for once.
And I really liked the relationship between Ethan and Julia too. It didn’t feel forced at all. Even though we didn’t know that much about her, the scenes they had together made it clear their relationship was real. You could tell they actually cared about each other, and I was all in on it.
