This movie is similar to The Ice Cream Man, in all the worst ways. I have to say though, the story was a little more cohesive which isn’t saying much. A Dentist catches his hot wife cheating on him with the pool guy, that triggered his delulu’s. Instead of confronting the situation he hallucinates his patients teeth are rotted, that one is his wife, and other wild scenarios. He commits sexual assault and rips out his patients teeth, he’s as rotten as the cavities he’s pulling out. There’s just too much going on that doesn’t make sense. It’s over acted from top to bottom and the longer the movie goes the more ridiculous it gets. I did enjoy the gore in a few scenes, but this is a movie I definitely will not be revisiting anytime soon.

Looking at the poster and reading the synopsis, I expected a dumb, bloody slasher. But as the movie went on, I realized there was actually a story there, and a pretty cool one.
Considering it’s a low-budget 90s movie, it still managed to make me genuinely uncomfortable. Ngl during the drilling scenes I could literally feel the pain and had to pause the film a few times.
The movie balances suspense and straight-up gore really well without forgetting about the story. The main character is extremely unpleasant, which somehow makes him even more interesting to watch. You see him slowly spiral into madness, taking it out on the patients in his dental chair, and you’re just sitting there watching this insane escalation like… what the hell.
The downsides are the repetitive kill pattern, weak side characters and not much creativity in some parts.

Dude saw his wife cheating and immediately went on a no more blowjobs rampage on his clients. One of the coolest guys I know mentioned this movie back in October at a film festival over dinner. This was for you, Corneliu
