“I used to watch the light move from the wall down to the baseboard and the floor and across the sheets, and that was another day”.

One of the most impactful short films I’ve ever seen yet. It’s beautifully executed, too. Georgie Wileman is one of many strong women who fight with this disease and its “aftermath”. She made her own experience a statement and used it as an opportunity to make others feel seen through her photograph project and film.

There’s something so intimate about the way she mentions feeling useless, scared and unheard. It’s truly inspiring to see her not only document her struggles but also look forward to be a voice of many others.
