Johnnie To’s 90s video store movie, “Fulltime Killer” honestly is a product of its time and will not age as well as his masterworks such as “Breaking News”. Still I enjoyed it because I’m that old fart who actually did grow up in the tail end of the video store era of cinephilia, and therefore I find all of its meta jokes and cartoonish plotting really entertaining and nostalgic.
