could've been so awesome but they fumbled hard, aka the average shudder experience. it doesn’t fit their typical vibe though which was a plus. one thing that was really driving me insane was the excessive use of that fucking boom sound effect. like Dude….. it kinda defeats the whole purpose when you’re using it every 20 seconds

The whole family went to sleep. I decided I wanted to watch something super random on Shudder. Kinda like a kick back and wind down type deal. I liked the aesthetic of the poster and I chose this one. Folk horror movies are usually aesthetically pleasing.

Woah. I was expecting pure trash to be completely honest with you. This movie from the very start had great cinematography and the acting was pretty strong. I was on edge the whole time and it was a really fun rollercoaster ride. I tell you what....THAT IS ONE EVIL ENTITY!

Now, just like any generic horror film there is this stigma that every horror masterpiece has to end terribly. Especially when you actually feel for the actors and their life story and then... BOOM. I think this movie deserved to have a hopeful ending. Overall, this movie was kinda like a hidden gem to me. I've never heard of this film. I would've rated this a little differently if only the mother somehow overcame this damn entity! That poor child.
