i hated that wife sm. i mean how could anyone be so ignorant. “why doesn’t nobody talk to me?” probably because they would be shot if they did. and honestly, lennie kept saying he should take to her and she wouldn’t listen. i hate her so so much and awww i started crying when he began touching her hair because i knew exactly what would happen. also so pissed they killed candy’s dog like awww. and the way you could see the mood shift in him when he no longer had his dog. curley was pissing me off the whole time but i genuinely think that the character i hate the absolute most was his wife, felt bad for her a little but she was so ignorant and naive like open your eyes and realise that you are on the road to ruining everyone else’s life. i wish that wasn’t the ending and they went to live on the farm, with the windmill where lennie tended to the rabbits and mice.
