Ok so I decided to watch this because I saw that Happy Gilmore 2 is coming out soon and this is like a childhood movie that I always wanted to see but now that my eyes went through… The movie went flying and my enthusiasm went downhill.
I didn’t liked the story at all but the it was kinda cute. He did all that only for his granny whom he loved. It’s relatable. Something that I think was wasted was the opportunity to talk about classism on the world of golf. And yeah the movie shows disgust of how the upper class doesn’t want a lower class but it’s taken as a joke and very stereotypical. Idk that’s just a thought 🤷.
I think this movie was a bad comedy one cause it didn’t made me laugh with those jokes, I’m sorry. And Happy fucking Gilmore omg… They gave him all this childhood trauma just for his anger attacks istg. This movie had potential.
