Before slashers, there were Giallos. And before Giallos, there were the Krimi films.

This is my first Krimi film and I really enjoyed. Foggy, noir-ish and stylish. The characters are great and it was nice to see some genre stars (e.g Klaus Kinski) in this. The killer reveal may be predictable to some, and the film could have benefited from being a bit more self contained, but this was still a great time. Can’t wait to see the other films in this genre.

Also, the skull cigarette case was so fucking cool.
