Oh this is my type of movie. Blurred reality, memory and time all getting tangled together, everyone looking exhausted and emotionally damaged while Adrien Brody wanders around confused as hell trying to figure out what’s real and what’s already happened. I was locked in. Brody was seriously great in this too. Keira Knightley was great as well. And I loved how the movie slowly pulls you deeper into all the uncertainty instead of over explaining itself. Such a weirdly emotional hidden gem.

A movie they tried way to hard to make confusing. Adrien Brody heads The Jacket, a film regarding a war survivor who can venture through time in his hallucinations after his almost death(s). He is located inside a psychiatric hospital for a majority of these hallucinations so you can tell when he starts to go insane but it just seems like the usual in that setting. The plot is all over the place, and sure its what it meant to be, but I hot lost pretty quick. Too many time jumps for 0 character appearance change. Sure there was some good moments, moments of realization, plot twists, the flashbacks/hallucinations was solid cinematography, but the overall movie left me nowhere. There didn’t seem to be a solid climax and that really brought it down. Overall its a solid thrilling confusing psychological drama thats not worth the watch 6/10

J’ai beaucoup apprécié la réalisation du film et ait été étonnée par la bizarrerie du film mais les acteurs portent très bien le film que ce soit Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley ou Daniel Craig (que j’ai l’habitude de voir dans James Bond par exemple), voilà j’ai passé un bon moment à me niquer les neurones comme pour Stay.
